Let us go to the house of Jehovah

In Hebrew Psalm means "mizmor." The people of Israel sang songs while they were in captivity. They remember him (Jehovah), they remember Jerusalem. They remember Zion, They remember the brothers.  When we are away from the ground where we belong, once we test the peace and love, we long for it.  We sung about it. That was what happened for the Israelites, when they were away from mount Zion. They like to be there.

They were singing for the love of the house of God.  Psa. 122:1 says “I rejoiced when they said to me, / Let us go to the house of Jehovah.” They are real! They mean it! Can we say to a brother “… let us go to the house of Jehovah,” so that he can rejoice? Do we rejoice when...

Rev. 19:7 Let us rejoice and exult, and let us give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.
1 Tim. 2:8 I desire therefore that men pray in every place, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and reasoning.

How do we live, walk the Christian life? We are told to do everything in the Spirit. A born again Christian is a spirit who posses a soul and lives in a body. The realm we operate is spiritual, not psychological, and not even physical. The life we live and the battle we fight are spiritual. If we are in Christ, we are in the Spirit. The reality of the Body of Christ is the result of such a living. It is no abnormal; it is a Normal Christian Life.

Such group of people will bring Christ ...

The Overcomers!

The term overcomer is a verb it is not a noun. To be called overcomer, you overcome something, an action involved with it. This action will give you the title overcomer. God is after these overcomers. In every local church we should have overcomers that stand for no one, for nothing, but for the body of Christ. They don't have their own desire; their desire is the desire of God. They fight the good fight of faith. According to the book of revelation the churches failed to be in this line, but God is waiting his overcomers with the church. Satan put chaos in the midst of God's plan, but he has his overcomers who pay the price and suffer the chaos and stand for the body, which is his bride.

Today, God is waiting for his bride. U...

Psa. 2:6  But I have installed My King upon Zion, My holy mountain.
Psa. 125:1-2 Those who trust in Jehovah are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever. Jerusalem—mountains surround her; and Jehovah surrounds His people from now and to eternity.

This week we come to the amazing revelation of what the desire of God is, and what he is looking after in the book of Psalm. In old testament book we have several types mentioned. Among these types, we see God's holy city Jerusalem. Inside Jerusalem we find the elevated Zion, on which the Temple of God was built (Psa. 2:6; 125:1). It is place where Abraham offered his son Isaac, a city chosen by David.

“Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, / Who seek Him with all their heart” (Psa. 119:2).

A. The first kind is the letter-keepers, illustrated by the Judaizers and Saul of Tarsus (Phil. 3:6b, 2).

B. The second kind is the God-seekers, illustrated by the psalmists, especially by the writer of Psalm 119, and by the apostle Paul (2 Cor. 3:6):

       1. They seek God with all their heart (Psa. 119:2).
       2. They love God’s name and remember it (vv. 132, 55).
       3. They entreat God’s face (v. 58).
       4. They ask for God’s face to shine on them (v. 135).
       5. They walk in God’s pres...

Whether in our experience the law is positive or negative depends on the condition of our heart in receiving the law:

Rom. 8:4     That the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the spirit.
Exo. 23:19  ...You shall not boil a kid in its mother’s milk.

In 2 Corinthians 3:6 Paul says that the letter kills. What matter here is our approach to the word of God. The attitude or the purpose we read or study the bible. If we separate the person God from the word, it will become just a letter that will condemn us and kill us. But when we come to the word as we come to God, the word gives as life. The Law of God is the living word of God that gives us l...

There are two aspects of the law- the aspect of the letter and the aspect of the Spirit as the reality of God's blessings.

2Cor.3:6   Who has also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant, ministers not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
Eph.1:3    Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ,

There are two aspects of the function of the law:

A/ The law as a negative aspect:

Rom. 7:7b        ... for neither did I know coveting, except the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
Rom. 3:19-20  Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks t...

In Psalm 119 Christ is the reality of the law:

Exo 34:28  And he was there with Jehovah forty days and forty nights; he did not eat bread, and he did not drink water. And He wrote upon the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.

2Tim 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, That the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.

Rev.19:13  And He is clothed with a garment dipped in blood; and His name is called the Word of God.

Isaiah 28:16 Therefore thus says The Lord Jehovah: Indeed I lay a stone in Zion as a foundation, A tested stone, A precious cornerstone as a foundation firmly established; He who believes will not hasten away.

Acts 4:11-12 This is the stone which was considered as nothing by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner. And there is salvation in no other, for neither is there another name under heaven given among men in which we must be saved.

The stone which the builders rejected

118:22-29  The stone which the builders rejected / Has become the head of the corner. This is from Jehovah; / It is wonderful in our sight. Give thanks to Jehovah, for He is good, / For His lovingkindness is forever. You are my God, and I give thanks to You. / You are my God; I will exalt You. Jehovah is God, / And He has given us light; / Bind the sacrifice of the feast with cords / To the horns of the altar. Blessed is He who comes in the name of Jehovah; / We bless you from the house of Jehovah. O Jehovah, do save, we pray! / O Jehovah, do send prosperity, we pray! This is the day that Jehovah has made; / Let us exult and rejoice in it.

Who knows about a stone better than the builders? In...
